Resident Visitation Guidelines

Eger Harbor House is an Assisted Living and Enriched Housing Program certified through the New York State Department of Health.  Harbor House has 75 individual apartments with a kitchenette, bedroom, and private bath. Most importantly, Harbor House is a home. 

The Harbor House utilizes an Interdisciplinary team to treat the whole being.  This includes clinical team to assist with administering medications, care team for daily living activities, dietary team that meets with residents about nutrition and menu planning, and a social worker that coordinates with mental health services.

The Harbor House also has a garden that the residents enjoy time with nature and grow fruits and vegetables that are used in the meals at Harbor House.

Harbor House is a state licensed facility and accepts Community Medicaid.

 Visitation Guidelines at Eger Harbor House

  • If a visitor is not feeling well, we ask that you NOT visit and reschedule.

  • When entering the community, all visitors and team members are asked to STOP at the kiosk to complete the health screening form.

  • All visitors MUST wear a mask at all times while visiting our community. If a visitor does not have a mask, a mask will be provided .

  • We ask that all visitors and residents continue to practice social distancing during the visit.


Any visitor who fails to adhere to the visiting protocols

shall be prohibited from visiting.

Eger Harbor House places great value in recreation.  Recreation activities at the Harbor House include social events, daily exercise programs, massage therapy, yoga, and more.  Residents also can participate in weekly excursions for shopping, to the boardwalk, movies, sporting events, and even trips to Atlantic City!
